Why CLS exists
A lot of people come to us after therapy that felt nice but didn't change much. They talked, their therapist nodded, and months later life looked the same.
Part of the reason is how many practices are built. When a practice runs on volume, therapists burn out, and a burned-out therapist can't give your hour their full attention.
We built CLS to work differently. Our therapists keep reasonable caseloads and take real time off, so they're present when you're in session with them. Sessions are practical and focused. And the goal isn't to keep you in therapy forever. It's to help you get to a place where you can handle things on your own.

What you can count on
Action over insight.
Understanding why matters, but it isn't the finish line. Every session ends with a next step you can try in real life.
Research-backed care that fits your life.
We use methods like CBT, ACT, and solution-focused therapy, adapted to your life as it really is. Ask your therapist why they're suggesting something and they'll tell you. No generic advice.
Direct and respectful.
We say what needs to be said, with care. Cost is discussed upfront, never as a surprise.
Therapists who aren't running on empty.
Reasonable caseloads and real time off mean your therapist has the energy to show up for you.
Affirming by design.
We explicitly support LGBTQIA+ people, women's autonomy, racial equity, and immigrant communities. No one here will bring a religious or political agenda into your care.
Who we work with
Our clients are usually capable, motivated people who are quietly overwhelmed. They're doing all the "right" things and still don't feel like themselves.
We're likely a good fit if:
You want practical tools, not just a place to vent.
You like knowing there's research behind what you're trying.
You're willing to try things between sessions.
You want to understand your patterns and change them.
You can meet by video from a private space.
A note on fit: CLS is an online outpatient practice. If you need more support than weekly sessions can offer right now, such as crisis or intensive care, we'll help you find the right place. If you're in crisis, call or text 988.
How it works
1
A free 15-minute consultation
A quick vibe check. Ask questions, learn how your therapist works, and see if you click.
2
Intake and a plan
Your therapist gets to know the people and parts of your life that are affected, and you build a plan together.
3
Sessions that build on each other
You start weekly or every other week. Each session picks up your last step, works through what got in the way, and ends with a new action step.
Wondering about cost? We're in-network with most major insurance plans, and we'll confirm your coverage on your free call.
